Allergy Test

Published at 24 November 2016 10:04 AM EST in 'General'

As I am a master at waiting for doctors I have become quite good at entertaining my mind while I sit in the sterile rooms. Here is an interesting/odd moment from my most recent waiting.

Sitting in the doctor’s chair I shift and turn and squirm.

They pricked my arms and now I sit and try to ignore the overwhelming burn.

I must not scratch
I must not scratch

Please make it go away

I must not scratch
I must not scratch

Oh my god the pain

I must not scratch
I must not scratch

Where could the doctor be

Sitting in his comfy room laugh there at me
Sadistic thing this allergy test
Who could possibly choose
To be the one to cause such pain
And say it's good for you.

I must not scratch
I must not scratch

Please someone ease my pain

I must not scratch
I must not scratch

Before I go insane!
